Star Wars Bloopers

Star Wars Bloopers

Quite a few bloopers from the Star Wars galaxy....

  • STAR WARS: A NEW HOPE

    1.

Note: this blooper cannot be seen in the new Star Wars just released in theatres...it can only be seen on the one released on video tape a few years before. When Darth Vader is talking about the death star, the camera light shines right on his helmet and you can see the actor's eyes underneath.

    2.

Han Solo blasts the alien Greedo to bits in the catina right? Then way does Greedo walk down the street after Luke and Obi-Wan sell their land-speeder? Note: Greedo runs pretty fast; slow motion helps.

    3.

While Luke, Chewie, Leia, and Han try to stop from being crushed in the trash compactor, C-3P0 and R2D2 hide in a security office closet. When the Storm Troopers are shown walking in, watch the Trooper on the right..he hits his head on the top of the doorway! Ouch!

    4.

Darth Vader's silver buttons on his chest plate are always on the left. However, when Vader says "You should not have come here" to Obi-Wan when they are dueling with light sabers on the Death Star, look at Darth's chest plate. The buttons are on the right instead of the left!

    5.

After the Death Star blows up, Luke flies back to Rebel headquarters and jumps out of his X-Wing. He then runs up and hugs Leia. Listen very carefully. Luke yells "Carrie!" instead of "Leia!" when he jumps out. Carrie was the name of the actress who played the part of the princess.

  • STAR WARS: The Empire Strikes Back

    1.

C-3P0 falls apart and ends up in the cloud city junk room. When Chewie finds him, use slo-mo and look closely at 3P0's head on the conveyor belt. You can see a reflection of the camera man and a few crew members!

    2.

This blooper spans two movies. Pay attention to Han's shirt and attire when he is frozen into Carbonite. However, when Leia un-freezes him in Return of the Jedi, he's wearing a different shirt!

  • STAR WARS: Return of the Jedi

    1.

When Lando is hanging above the Scarlacc pit, his hands are bare in the close-up shots. But, in the wide shots, he's wearing black gloves! (The stuntman must have had slippery hands!)

    2.

Watch Luke's hands as he chases the Troopers on speeder-bikes through the forest of Endor. Near the end of the chase, there's a close-up of Luke. Look at his hands. He's wearing his glove (the one that covers his robotic RIGHT hand) on his left hand!

    3.

When Han and Leia plant explosives to blow up the Death Star's energy field generator, Han runs away yelling "Move! Move!" Look behind him after he says "Move!" for the second time and you'll see his reflection in the sheet of plexi-glass used to protect the actors from the explosion.
